With more than twenty years as a strategic communications advisor and writer, Sal Ivone<\/strong>\u2019s experience includes executive speech writing, video scripting, briefings, presentations, and communications planning. As a consultant with Booz Allen, Arrowpoint, and Noblis<\/strong>, Sal developed and executed communications plans for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency<\/strong> (DARPA), Defense Information Systems Agency<\/strong> (DISA), Department of Homeland Security \/ Science & Technology Directorate<\/strong>, the National Guard Directorate<\/strong>, and the Air Force<\/strong>. He has served as personal speech writer to General Ann E. Dunwoody<\/strong>, Commander of Army Materiel Command and the first woman to achieve the four-star rank.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>He has held Top Secret<\/strong> and Secret-Level<\/strong> security clearances. Sal has also held the position of divisional Vice President, Communications for the Unisys Corporation<\/strong>. In that role, he developed long-term messaging and C-level speeches. He also directed marketing communications in support of global sales and public relations programs in seventy countries.<\/p>\n

Sal has served as a communications consultant and speech writer to Pfizer<\/strong>, CGGVeritas<\/strong>, The United States Postal Service<\/strong>, America Online<\/strong> and Alcatel<\/strong>, creating successful messaging platforms, re-branding programs, and product launches.<\/p>\n

In the world of television, Sal helped develop news show parodies for CBS<\/strong> and USA Network<\/strong>. Sal also contributed to DIC Entertainment<\/strong>, a producer of animated TV programming for the Disney Corporation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Publishing, both print and digital, is another of Sal\u2019s areas of professional interest. He has held executive posts and completed consulting assignments for Globe Communications<\/strong>, American Media<\/strong>, and New World Entertainment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

His most recent awards include the New York Festivals\u2019 Gold World Medal<\/strong> and a CINE Golden Eagle Award<\/strong> for a video script written for Accenture<\/strong>. Sal has also earned an Award of Excellence<\/strong> (highest honor)\u00a0for Creativity<\/strong> from the US International Film and Video Festival for a Southern Company \/ State of Alabama<\/strong> multi-media event.<\/p>\n

He counts the American Diabetes Association<\/strong>, American Express<\/strong>, Amtrak<\/strong>, the Department of Justice<\/strong>, Fidelity National Financial<\/strong>, General Foods<\/strong>, International Paper<\/strong>, MasterCard International<\/strong>, MedImmune<\/strong>, Perennial Sports and Entertainment<\/strong>, Quaker State<\/strong>, Sony<\/strong>, Toshiba<\/strong>, Toys R Us<\/strong> and the U.S. Small Business Administration<\/strong> among his many clients.<\/p>\n
